Ugarte Rioja Reserva Edicion Limitada BASF Exclusive 2019

Eguren Ugarte work under the philosophy to unite tradition with innovations to make the best wines possible. The winery makes wine under the denomination ‘Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja’. Accredited in 1926, they obtained the highest category, “Calificada” in 1991.

This Rioja Reserva is a blend of  95% Tempranillo and 5% Garnacha grapes, aged in French and American oak barrels for 16 months. The grapes for this wine are harvested from a single vineyard, specifically selected for our BASF Exklusiv and is a very limited production. We are sure you will love this Rioja-style wine’s smooth tannins, low acidity and complex aromas of red berries, with a well integrated toasty notes from the barrel aging.
