Gregory Hecht and François Bannier met many years ago when studying for a masters of wine in Burgundy. At the time, one worked as a successful wine buyer for a large restaurant group and the other worked for well-known champagne houses. They bonded over their joint passion for fine wine and the dream of creating their own cuvées. Since 2001, they have been focusing their wine expertise on the diverse terroirs of the dynamic wine landscape of southern France.

The Mediterranean coast of the Languedoc is a true paradise for ambitious wine pioneers such as Hecht & Bannier. The region with its warm sunny weather offers a vast variety of terroirs. This blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignane grapes is made exclusively for BASF and we love this silky and fruity wine with flavors of dark berries and notes of dried plums and chocolate.
