Kallstadter Steinacker Riesling Kabinett trocken BASF Exclusive 2022

The little town of Kallstadt is located in the middle of the Palatinate wine region, right on the German Wine Route. The Kallstadter Cooperative has produced wine since 1902. Through continuous growth and the constant pursuit of improvement, they have today one of the most modern wineries in the Palatinate. Despite all the changes, the cooperative is true to its traditions and has since its beginning been unconditionally committed to making exquisite wines from the Riesling grape as well as Palatinate classics such as the Gewürztraminer, St. Laurent, Portugieser and Scheurebe.

The grapes for this Riesling were grown at the vineyard site Kallstadter Steinacker. These vineyards are made up of chalk and sandstone soil, with plenty of large rocks, yielding grapes that produce a fresh and crispy Riesling wine with aromas of green apples, citrus and some hints of white blossoms. It is a refreshing wine that is easy to drink!
