Musenhang is the name of a vineyard near the municipality of Forst an der Weinstraße. The site was auctioned off by the municipality of Forst in 1821 and at that time it was still covered by forest. Due to its close proximity to the forest, this site is well supplied with water and produces grapes with good acidity levels. The vineyard site also provides the Riesling grapes with a long ripening period, which preserves their golden color. Here the grapes are harvested as late as the beginning of November.

The nose is dominated by aromas of lemon, grass and minirality with some white blossoms. The palate is balanced with flavors of ripe pear and melon. A refreshing wine that will pair well with a salad or your appetizers.

According to legend, the name of this site is derived from 'Musehelde' local dialect for mousehole.
