Bodegas Eguren "Reinares" Blanco 2023

Eguren Ugarte work under the philosophy to unite tradition with innovations to make the best wines possible. The winery primarily makes wine under the denomination ‘Denominación de Origen Cali­ficada Rioja’. Accredited in 1926, they obtained the highest category, “Calificada” in 1991. Some years ago the Eguren family started a new project in the Castilla y Léon region, which is located on a high plateau around the town of Valladolid in nortwestern Spain. The climate in the region is dominated by continental extremes: icy winters and scorching hot summers. In addition, there is little rainfall, which naturally limits the yield of the vines. The great day-night differences during the growing season also very much influence the wine quality as the cloudless skies and abundant sunshine ensures the expressive aromas of the grapes, and at night the cold captures the necessary freshness and acidity. 

This white wine is made from the Viura grape and was fermented and aged only in stainless steel tanks. It has a light refreshing body, with moderate acidity. Bright and crystal clear color with straw yellow reflections. A great aroma emerges on the palate of ripe fruit that makes this wine a great accompaniment for fish and seafood dishes
