Bernhard Koch Chardonnay "Letten" Reserve 2021

The Bernhard Koch estate is located in Hainfeld in southern Pfalz. The Koch winery has over the last few years gained special recognition for their quality wines. In 2017 the Koch winery was even recommended in the world-famous Gault Millau wine guide and received 4 1/2 grapes out of 5. 

Bernhard Koch and his Japanese Winemaker Chie Sakata have a special talent for making fruity and intense wines. This wonderful reserve Chardonnay is made in the burgundian style and shows exotic fruits embedded in smoky and spicy aromas from the barrique. The wine impresses with its power and finesse and promises a long aging potential thanks to its lively acidity on the finish. Pairs perfectly with a mushroom risotto, roasted chicken with cream sauce or heartier seafood dishes like a bouillabaisse.
