The first in the long line of winemakers in the Kimich family was the wine cooper Andreas Kimich. He came to Pfalz and Deidesheim from Alsace and married a rich widow who owned many vineyards. Andreas Kimich brought with him wine making knowledge from Alsace and the Kimich winery was founded 1758. The estate was managed by the Kimich family in five further generations. In 1949 Joachim Arnold married a daughter of Julius Ferd. Kimich and took over the management a few years later. Today his son Franz and grandson Matthias, who represents the eighth generation, run the business. Through careful work in the vineyard and cellar, they produce top-class wines.

Together with Franz Arnold, the team of BASF Wine Cellar created this rosé blend made of Dornfelder, Cabernet Cubin and a small portion of Merlot. On the palate aromas of red fruits such as raspberry and strawberry are unfolding. In addition to its berry aroma, a slight but fine sweetness is noticeable on the palate.

Perfect for a toast your friends and family at a get-together, or to pair with vegetable dishes like grilled asparagus, or a light salad.
