Studier Rosa Chardonnay 2022

Studier is a quintessential Palatinate family winery that is known for its straightforward and vibrant youthful wines. The German word Studier means “to study” or being student, so the winery playfully releases its wine in a Campus, Bachelors and a Masters line.

This rosé wine is made from Rosa Chardonnay, which is an extremely rare mutation of the classic Burgundian Chardonnay grape. The grapes have pink pigment and it has a similar flavor profile to its relative, but is characterized by a more intense fruit. The bouquet displays tropical fruits, pear, and fig. This wine will pair wonderfully with dishes that the white Chardonnay typically does, like a baked salmon, pasta with pesto, or grilled chicken.
